U21s meet Hammers again

United's Under-21s have the second of a double-header of fixtures with West Ham at Moss Lane on Wednesday night.
The two teams played out a goalless draw at Upton Park last week, which initially left United in third place in the Barclays Elite Group table, only for Southampton to overtake the Reds.
Tottenham, the runaway leaders, lost to Wolves this week to offer hope to the chasing pack and Warren Joyce will look to ensure his troops are fired up for the match with the top three teams all qualifying for the semi-finals.

Trialist Jeff Schlupp has featured as a lone striker in the previous two fixtures while Nick Powell may come back into the reckoning after not playing against the Hammers. Frederic Veseli performed in an unfamiliar midfield role in the capital on Friday with Tom Thorpe, who has been utilised in that holding role, organising the side from the heart of the back four.
